Register Your Owl Product Warranty Online
Owl warrants that all Thermo Fisher Scientific manufactured products will be free from substantial defects in material and workmanship and will conform significantly to Owl’s applicable specifications for three (3) years after date of shipment. During the three (3) year warranty period, if any Owl product does not conform significantly to the relevant specifications thereof, or is substantially defective in material or workmanship, notify Owl within seven (7) working days after learning of such failure. Return the defective product to Owl in accordance with Owl’s written instructions (please see Terms and Conditions). If, after reasonable investigation, Owl determines that such product does not conform significantly to the relevant specifications thereof, or is substantially defective in material or workmanship, Owl shall, at Owl’s option, either; refund to the customer the purchase price for such defective product, repair or replace such defective product. With respect to all specialty electronics and power supplies which are not manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific, Owl warrants that all such products will be free from substantial defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year after the date of shipment. Customers should follow the same procedures with respect to the repair or replacement of Thermo Fisher Scientific manufactured products as described herein.
Please note, all Owl products sold through this website or our catalog, whether manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific or by a third party, are intended for laboratory research applications only. Data with respect to Owl products is correct to the best of Owl’s knowledge. This warranty shall not apply to any products Owl determines have been the subject of mishandling, misuse, neglect, improper testing, operational procedures, repair, alteration, damage, assembly, or processing. This warranty excludes all costs of shipping, customs clearance and related charges outside the continental United States and Canada.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Owl be liable for any incidental or consequential damages of any kind (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption or pecuniary loss), even if Owl has been advised of the possibility of such damages arising out of or resulting from the products or the use or modification thereof or due to the breach of this warranty or any other obligation of Owl to the customer, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory. In no event shall Owl be liable for damages which exceed the purchase price of any Owl product(s).

In the event an item is received damaged Owl needs to be notified within seven (7) working days and all original packaging must be saved and returned with the product.
OWL’S 30 DAY WARRANTY
If any Owl product*, does not perform to your satisfaction, the product can be returned to Owl for credit. All returns must be in their original packaging, be shipped pre-paid and include an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number provided by Owl’s Customer Service Department. Goods approved for return must be received within 30 days from the order date. Items older than 30 days will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
*Exceptions are as follows: Chemicals or reagents, refrigerated materials, expired products, special order items, any discontinued items and products that have been modified.
