Our Owl SGC-1 Sequencing Gel Caster uses an innovative method for casting that is so simple you can cast bubble free gels in less than 3 minutes. A horizontal plate sliding procedure, capillary action drawing gel between plates, and surface tension, keeps the gel from leaking. No taping or special assembly is required and because the system is so simple to use you’ll cast a perfect gel in no time. The system is fully adjustable to accommodate glass plates from 20 cm to 42 cm wide and 48 cm long.
